![]() General Information The Division of Continuing Education for the College of Health Sciences was established in 1977 to respond to the continuing education interests and needs of health professionals in the community. As an integral component of the education process of the College of Health Sciences, the Division seeks to provide a wide range of educational programs to meet practice oriented needs. Programs are held both on and off-campus and include workshops, seminars, and conferences. Program faculty are from university academic departments and specialists in health or health related fields from the community. Continuing education credit is awarded for successful completion of activities. The Division is nationally accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Additionally, the Division is approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing to provide continuing education offerings for nurses and other health professionals. |
